Music Theory Grading Policy

The grading for this class is based upon a point system:

• Each homework assignment is worth 10 points

• Exams are worth 500 points

• Quizzes are worth 100 points

• Pop Quizzes are worth 10 - 50 points

• Projects are worth 100 points

• The final project is worth 500 points

Your grade is determined by a percentage of points earned to points assigned. The total number of accumulated points (assuming there are no pop quizzes) for the entire term is approximately 840.

Your midterm grade & end of term are not averaged to determine your final grade. Instead, points are accumulative for the entire term. 

You may retake any quiz or exam as often as you wish until you are satisfied with your grade.
