Class Expectations

Attendance

• Absences and "tardies" are taken in accordance to the Culver Academies attendance standard.

• Because this class is located in an rather remote location on campus, it's normal for some of you to be a little late for class. If this is the case, you will not be counted late. Abuses of this policy may result in:

  • Counted as "tardy"

  • A pop-quiz for on-time your class members

Class Participation:

• There is no grade in this class that is directly linked to class participation. Rather, your homework, quizzes, projects, and exams reflect the amount of effect that you engage in this class.

• You are expected to participate in some manner:

  • Class Discussions

  • Group projects

  • Online forums

  • Listening and taking notes

Technology

• Email & Instant Messaging

  • If it is relevant to class discussions is not only permitted but is encouraged.

  • It is not allowed during tests.

  • Please do not abuse this policy.

• Sound File & File Sharing

  • Copying the sound files that are used in this class is illegal and not permitted.

  • In certain instances, sound files for class projects are permitted. More on this later.
