An all-school meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, in Eppley Auditorium, followed at 2:30 p.m. by mentee/mentor time.

CMA varsity A hockey sweeps second NE tourney

The CMA varsity A hockey team finished its two trips to New England with a perfect 8-0 record. The Eagles followed up their sweep of Exeter and three opponents at the Lawrence Academy Tournament with a dominant showing at the Cushing Academy Tournament from Dec. 28 through 30. CMA defeated Nobles & Greenough 5-2, Pomfret 7-1, Canterbury 7-1, and Berkshire 4-0 to win its second tournament championship of the season. The Eagles have won 10 games in a row and are 16-4-2 overall. Cory Hibbeler, Tyler Quartuccio, and Jason Torf were all-tournament team selections, with Torf also earning tournament MVP honors.

Student Life

ISTEP results are back.  Students should please check their campus mail boxes for the reports.

The Spanish Honorary Society will be offering 20 expense-paid trips to Mexico this year.  If you are junior and have taken Spanish, you are encouraged to participate in the annual Spanish Travel Awards.  Completed applications must be postmarked no later than Feb. 15.   For additional information, please see Mr. Garzón in the Department of Modern & Classical Languages during the next Spanish Club meeting from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, in Gignilliat Hall, room 103.
