Chapel and Mass times changed this weekend Protestant Chapel and Sacred Silence will meet at 9 a.m. this week because of the Veterans Day ceremony. Roman Catholic Mass will meet at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. None of the locations for the services have changed. Please contact Mr. Haynes (haynest@culver.org) if you have questions about the change in schedule. College advising extravaganza set for Saturday A college advising extravaganza will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. It is a work session for college applications. This is not mandatory but encouraged. Seniors must sign up in college advising to attend, so Corky can order enough food for the program. We also are asking for volunteers from the Humanities Department to help look over essays. Knit-a-Thon scheduled for this Sunday Drop a stitch lately? Come to the Knit-a-Thon from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, in Roberts Auditorium and we’ll help you pick it up. There will be snacks and a movie, and you don’t have to know how to knit or crochet, or even have needles. Patterns for various baby caps will be available and experienced knitters will be there to help you. It would be greatly appreciated if you bring your own materials, but some will be available at the Knit-a-Thon. Completed caps will be donated to the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital nursery for our Senior Service Project. All faculty and students are welcome. If you have any questions, please e-mail Samantha Fremer (fremers@culver.org) or Aileen McCluskey (mcclusa@culver.org). We can’t wait to see you there.
