"See You at the Pole" to be held Wednesday

See You at the Pole: Each year, more than three million Christian students from all 50 states and 20 countries gather around the flagpoles at their schools on a Wednesday morning in September. They gather to pray for their nation and their school. This Wednesday morning, Sept. 26, we invite you to join us as we continue that tradition.  We will meet for prayer at 6:35 a.m. at the flagpoles near Sally Port. Come dressed in daily uniform.  You will be released by 7 a.m. to get to inspection/ranks/breakfast. Contact Mr. Chastain at ext. 8395 or Mr. Powell at ext. 7038 for more information.

Student Life

Illinois Wesleyan will be on campus at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Here’s a new tip from the CGA Technology Prefects. To prolong battery life, allow the battery to run all the way down before plugging it in. Every time you charge the battery, it reduces its ability to charge fully the next time. After so many times being plugged in, the battery’s life has been drastically reduced. To keep your battery’s life as long as possible, simply avoid plugging it in as frequently.

After Tuesday, the weekly walks (four in total) will be timed. The winner will be the person or team that improves his or its time the most. In the case of rain, please meet in the fitness center. Hope to see you there. Contact Dr. Coyle for more information.
