1.  The Spanish IV National High School Examination will be held March 11 at 3:00 P.M. in the Language Laboratory.  Please be on time!                                                                            (Mr. Garzon, x7016)

 

2. All Faculty, Staff, and Students -  We, the student members of a Culver Mission Trip Team, will be traveling to Bulgaria for Spring Break in less than two weeks.  While there, we will be working with various programs established by the Bulgarian Red Cross.  We also hope to share some of our belongings with the people of the mountain villages surrounding Sofia (the nation's capital); therefore, we are requesting your assistance.
Thursday, March 6, through Monday, March 10, we will hold a collection of the following items:

Classical books in the English language (i.e. Penguin edition paperbacks) 
· Text books in good condition 
· Clothing (non-Culver) 
· Shoes 
· Toys 
· Teaching materials (pens, notebooks, rulers, erasers, pencils, etc.) 
· Art supplies ( e.g. drawing pads, colors, brushes, etc. ) 
· Children's books with pictures 
· Video cassettes and audio cassettes
(Please ensure that all items are in good condition.)


Faculty and Staff may drop their items off at one of two locations:
1. Box outside Mrs. Hunter's office (next to the Bookstore)
2. Box in the Dining Hall (present during the Thursday, Friday and Monday lunch periods)

Students may donate within their dorms and barracks:
The Class of 2005 Unit/Dorm Reps will be circulating their respective living units to aid the collection on Thursday, Friday and Monday.  Thanks to all for your support!  The people of Bulgaria are sure to appreciate your generosity!  Direct all questions to Mr. Jay Truesdale (History Dept.) at truesdj@culver.org

3.  SALE, SALE, SALE!!! The Bookstore is having a 20% off sale on all regular priced clothing items all next week (March 10-14th).  Come to the Bookstore and shop for your spring break reg rec!!!
