1.   THE UNIFORM DEPT. will be closed Friday, March 14, for inventory.  Friday, March 14, through March 31, the Uniform and Laundry Depts. will be closed.  Resume normal hours Tuesday, April 1, 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.                                                        (Ms. Workman, x7468)

   

 

2.   MASSAGE THERAPIST, Tammy Shaffer, will be available for appointments Monday, March 10, from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Fitness Center.                                                      (Ms. Ollett, x8080)  

 

 

3.   THE SPANISH IV NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL EXAMINATION will be held March 11 at 3:30 P.M. in the Language Laboratory.  Please be on time!                                                            (Mr. Garzon, x7016)

 

   

4.   ALL FACULTY, STAFF, AND STUDENTS—We, the student members of a Culver Mission Trip Team, will be traveling to Bulgaria for Spring Break in less than two weeks.  While there, we will be working with various programs established by the Bulgarian Red Cross.  We also hop to share some of our belongings with the people of the mountain villages surrounding Sofia (the nation’s capital); therefore, we are requesting your assistance.

 

Thursday, March 6, through Monday, March 10, we will hold a collection of the following items (Please ensure all items are in good condition):

    ·  Classical books in the English language 

          (ie. Penguin edition paperbacks)

    ·   Textbooks in good condition

    ·   Clothing (non-Culver)

    ·   Shoes

    ·   Toys

    ·   Teaching materials (pens, notebooks, rulers, erasers, pencils, etc.)

    ·   Art supplies (drawing pads, colors, brushes, etc.)

    ·   Children’s books with pictures

    ·   Video and audio cassettes

 

Faculty and Staff may drop off their items in a box outside Mrs. Hunter’s office next to the Bookstore, or in a box in the Dining Hall during the Thursday, Friday, and Monday lunch periods. 

 

Students may donate within their dorms and barracks.  The Class of 2005 Unit/Dorm Reps will circulate their respective living units to aid the collection on Thursday, Friday, and Monday.  Thanks to all for your support!  The people of Bulgaria are sure to appreciate your generosity!  Direct all questions to Mr. Jay Truesdale (History Dept.)
