  1.  DO YOU MARCH TO THE BEAT OF A HIGHLAND   DRUMMER?  Did you ever want to wear a kilt?  Does the skirl of the bagpipes make your heart stir?  Then consider bagpipe & highland drumming lessons offered to students, faculty and staff at no charge.  For more information, contact Night OC Brent VanNorman via email, (574) 772-3436  at home, or (574) 806-2036 via cell phone.

 2.  FRED CLARKE ’73, IS A WORLD CLASS PHOTO-JOURNALIST who has covered a wide number of conflicts across the globe. He was one of the few photographers allowed into Somalia during the war in the 1990’s and has seen action in a variety of places, most recently in Chechnya. Mr. Clarke's photographs appear in many news publications and, this fall, a book of his work will be published by Random House. In conjunction with his 30th Culver class reunion, Mr. Clarke will be installing an exhibition of 32 photographs in the Huffington Library. This work will be on view through Alumni Weekend. Mr. Clarke will be available to speak with students, either in the Huffington or in your classroom, this Wednesday and Thursday.
