After church, the Puerto Rico Spring Break in Mission team posed before helping with a Sunday School picnic, followed by kite flying. Nearly 100 children, ranging in age from 4 to 13, joined in the event.

 1.  Try a Tri:  Are you interested in participating in a triathlon?  The Fitness Center is sponsoring a trip to West Lafayette to participate in a sprint triathlon on Sunday May 18th.  Please stop by the Fitness Center for details.  (Mr. Cowell, x8388)

 

 

 2.  ANY FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE OR JUNIOR interested in applying to the Campus Activities Board must do so NO LATER THAN Monday, April 28th. Applications submitted after that date will not be accepted. Class Officers are not eligible to serve on CAB.

 3.  THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 25, DRC WILL BE IN THE MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING. There will be no lunch served in Lay Dining Center. Although the dining hours are posted from 11:30 am - 1:00 p.m., the staff will be ready to serve lunch at 10:30 am. Due to limited seating and the large number of Parents Weekend guests expected to eat from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., the dining hall staff asks that Culver employees try to eat between 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. if possible.  Students and parents also are welcome to eat earlier than 11:30 a.m.

 

 

 4.  COME JOIN DANCEVISION this weekend for a delightful program featuring the Honors projects of Christalee Bieber, Sarina Guerrettaz, and Michelle Leech. Also presented with be a choreographed version of West Side Story, and the romantic ballet, Coppelia. Please join us for the fun Saturday at 8:00 P.M. and Sunday at 2:30 P.M. in Eppley Auditorium.

 5.  INDUCTION CEREMONY:  On Friday, April 25, the Spanish Honorary Society will induct nineteen new members during 2nd C.P. at the Huffington Library on the second floor.  At this ceremony we will have Father Kohrman, Catholic Chaplain at the the Academies, Doctor Darrell Beach and Mr. Garzon, Director of the Indiana Spanish Honorary Society.  Parents, faculty, guests and staff members are welcome.

 6.  The Art Gallery in Eppley Auditorium is open during the week between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Please contact Mr. Nowalk for access to the gallery at other times.                                            (Mr. Nowalk x8278)

 

 

 7.  NO PARKING in the area leading to the Dining Hall loading docks during Parents Weekend.  This area needs to be clear for shipments and deliveries.  Thank you for your cooperation.                            (Ms. Buchanan, x8488)

 

 

 8.  IF YOU PARK IN THE LOT BETWEEN THE HENDERSON ICE

      ARENA AND MUSIC AND ARTS BUILDING, please find alternative

      parking beginning Wednesday, April 23.  This parking lot will be used for

      reserved and handicapped parking for the Culver Parent Association’s

      Gateway to the Future Auction next Friday, April 25.  We will barricade

      the area beginning Wednesday evening for purposes of loading and

      unloading auction items and continuing through the event Friday evening.
