THE FACULTY STORMED BACK FROM A TEN POINT HALFTIME
DEFICIT TO
STUN THE
SENIORS 60-56 in
the hotly contested
seniors vs. faculty
basketball game
yesterday. Sharp
shooting Mr.
Kelley got the
faculty on
track as he started
the game with a
dead on three-
pointer. It was Mr.
Kelley's only
points of the game, but he won't tell you that. Mr. Brower, Mr.
Brooms and Mr.
Hochbein provided the offensive arsenal and Mr. Mascari, Mr. Barnes
and Mr.
Dorrel set the tone in the post. Mr. Brower's free throws broke a
56-56 tie with
twenty seconds remaining and Mr. Hochbein put the game away with two more
free throws as the faculty won in jubilation. The faculty warned the
seniors not to
come in their house, but the naive seniors fearlessly disobeyed the order
only to
lose. The students must wait
another year for yet another try at dethroning the
talented faculty champs.

the
ICGSA Academic All-State team and senior Ashley Sheppard was Honorable
Mention Academic All-State.
TENNIS
The girls tennis team fell to Plymouth 4-1 in the second round of the
Sectional
last Friday. Sophomore Lora Dushanova beat Plymouth's Shannon Gehrke
6-0, 6-2 to extend her unbeaten streak to 15 matches. Plymouth went on to
win the Sectional with a 5-0 win over Rensselaer on Saturday.

Gee, Donnie
Smith, Joe Lee and Anthony Castronovo set a new Sectional
record
with
a
time of 42.94. The 4 X 400 meter relay team of Joe Gee,
