Catering News

If you have enlisted the services of The Lay Dining Center's catering division recently, you know that we have a new catering manager!  Her name is Susie Weldon.  Susie has been working in the dining hall for over 15 years.  Kellie Ashton, who was the Assistant Director of Special Events for 5 years, moved to North Carolina during the 2005-06 school year.  Susie was the logical choice to fill Kellie's shoes.  Although Susie's official position was Receiving Leader, she was Kellie's "right-hand (wo)man" at most catering functions, and Kellie often put Susie in charge of an entire event in her absence.  Susie recently survived her first Board Weekend, and looks forward to the many challenges and opportunities her new position will provide.

Susie is from Monterey.  She is married to Jason and has 2 children.
